If you are undecided between risk and this choose this one. Very similar but with more alternative maps and scenarios.

Besides offering a variety of maps suitable for hours of play, there are also a number of different game modes to further enhance the experience. The best thing is the amount of online play. Nearly any time of day or night there are others online waiting to play in real time. 5 stars.

Love this game. I love how I can play on my computer, iPad and iPhone. I wish that I could play at the same time with my iPhone, iPad and computer. It would make it easier to play with friends on a local connection. Risk has that ability... But risk doesnt have all the different maps this game has. Also I like the different game types, (even though I only play world conquest). A great game for risk lovers :)

Its nice but crashes 1/2 time when loading an online game, and very long to find players !

Soooooooooooooo adictive!!!!

Its reeeeally fun and addictive but theres one problem that Ive experienced that can be really frustrating. The dice seem to be rigged in the AIs favor, I had an army of 7 attacking an army of...and I lost, I was playing on medium

I seem to roll an awful lot of ones compared to the AIs sixes and fives. I cant even win on easy. Seriously, if I have 36 guys I really have debate my odds against 12. I cant recommend this game, its just too frustrating.

Great choice of maps for varied gameplay!

The game is well presented and full of interesting modes and maps, but a couple design decisions cause this game to fall short. The introduction of luck to the game may occasionally cause fun turnovers, but it can be frustrating for strategy purists. The options to a) slightly weigh a roll based on superior numbers or b) remove bonus cards from play may allow for a more chess-like experience with fewer late-game cascades.

Very fun, more complex than risk

The AI has fortifying capabilities that are denied to the player. Armies appear magically where there was nothing. Maps have strange connections between far away countries making holding continents very difficult.

Great game, they should make even more accurate maps to play on.

Ai rolls higher than you, especially on hard, where some ai gets an average roll of 3.6/3.7., while you get 3.2. Also, on hard, rather than ai having better strategy, they will often team up on you and also somehow know to attack the territories for which you have cards.

Largely unchanged over the years, this version is terrific. Well coded A.I. On hard, it is frustratingly difficult... Its just right! No bad dice code either

Great game! Can save multiples games. Better than Risk! Because of the modes

The online game cant be played.... It always gets stuck and says "connectivity issues " happens almost every online game please fix it thank you....

Yeah, its one of the best games on the Appstore! Why? The "hard" mode is actually hard... With all the games out there where youre done in a few minutes, this game takes skill at higher levels. Life can throw you a curve ball, so can this game! Happy this game doesnt have those in app purchases! But I need to see new maps!!! Thanks!

Was having lots of if its the best Risk Ive ever played until I see the online feature and hard bots difficulty. First of, theres no way you can find opponents and play a game online and second, the bots are not any better or wiser, theres just a huge glitch in the dices luck. Im getting reimbursed.
